Guide - Buying and Working with Wigs

Whenever you need to change the direction wig fibre goes in, the answer is a hairdryer, and sometimes hairspray. To part a wig differently from how it originally was, clip the hair into the position you want it and blast it with a hairdryer. A little hairspray is also helpful here, but usually heat on its own is sufficient.

Many wigs have skin tops, so parting them differently is easy. When changing the parting of a wig without a latex scalp, more care is needed to prevent exposing the mesh and keep it looking as natural as possible.
