I've been dressing up all my life I mean for literally EVERYTHING if it was a normal friends birthday party I'd be in fancy dress for no apparent reason. My mother always made me costumes as a child and taught me as I got older :)

When I reached the age of about 13 I found out about cosplay but didn't do my first one until I was 16 when I went to my second London MCM Expo(Mikuru Asahina), I had gone the previous October BUT I won the tickets last minute and didn't have time to make anything. the reason I hadn't attended anything prior to that was because I thought all conventions happened in America... Dumb i know...

Anyway the first cosplay I did was Mikuru Asahina from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya in May 2012 which I had custom made from China, in October 2012 I did the animated series version of Poison Ivy that I handmade, in May 2013 I did Little My from The Moomins that I handmade and then October 2013 I cosplayed a Silent Hill nurse that I handmade.

May 2014 I'm cosplaying Abby Sciuto from NCIS, I was cosplaying Daenerys from Game of Thrones but the wig failed to fit properly (sobs) and October 2014 I'm cosplaying Tsukiko from The Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat, and in May 2015 I will be cosplaying Rin Kokonoe from Kodomo no Jikan.

Other cosplays I own-

Gasmask monster from Dr. Who, Wednesday Adams, 1950s pin-up fem-Soldier from Team Fortress 2, Felicia from Darkstalkers and 2 outfits of Daenerys from Game of Thrones (blue Grecian dress and desert outfit).

I attend London MCM Expo twice a year and Hyper Japan once a year.

The wig arrived, oh boy I felt amazing wearing it! Just like Rin! The pigtails are a bother though, being clip on and all... I think I might sew them to the wig a little.
The skirt, tie, red backpack, pink paint, and polystirene balls for the hair pieces have been ordered. Going to paint the polystiene balls and sew them to the wig. One of the remaining balls will be sliced in half to make the smiley face on her back strap.

Turns out the blouse I bought was the wrong material to make a Seifuku. The collar would just not hang right! No matter... I've started making Tsukiko's pet cafe/ outing costume (white top with pleats and a brown bow across the chest, brown pleated skirt, brown beret with felt flowers).

This will be completed next weekend :) then... photo shoot! Yay!

My boyfriends Yokodera wig was not dispatched on time as it was out of stock and the website decided not to tell us?! Idek.. people these days... *sigh*

He found a better wig on Amazon and ordered that instead (after cancelling the other one) so all systems are go ^~^

I got a static type material blouse that turned out to be cream rather than white, which is highly annoying! But no matter, going to cut it a little shorter and hem the bottom :)

Then next I will proceed to make the collar, keeping my eyes peeled for some cream colored cotton material for it, yellow ribbon, and green cotton for the school emblems (leaves). Going to purchase these from a local material shop, sort of nervous about how it will turn out. I keep having nightmares about it 0_0 (yeah I worry that much) so want to start on it as soon as poss to ease my nerves.

The wig seems a little short (bought at Expo back in May) but it is an actual Tsukiko wig... I've seen it on a few Japanese cosplayers and although it seems short I think it looks very effective. (it even came with the side bit sticking up).
