First started cosplaying in 2008 when I attended MCM Expo for the first time as Light Yagami from Death Note.
Always been interested in costuming in general.
Only pleased with 2 cosplays I've ever done; Castiel and my fursona's fursuit.
Hoping to one day become good enough to make some awesome stuff (Goals in cosplay are to create an accurate quad fursuit of The Lion King's Scar)
Now the heads done it's just a matter of finishing the legs (which only need a few more bits of sewing), the body (which I will make the pattern for tomorrow and get the fur for on friday) then sew it all together and airbrush it!... In a few weeks... Yeah.
Lots of stuff on the go right now; head in the works, legs are half sewn. Then it's just the body to make, sew it all together and airbrush all the colour and markings!
I make it sound easy... it's going to be painful...
Been put off doing the legs for forever because I don't have a sewing machine... So this'll all be hand-sewn. Hurrr... Just need to do the butt and back thigh fur then I can sew it all together. Awkwardly worked out a pocket will be in my crotch for my phone... Payday friday so I can get the resin base then!
Completely forgot and bought Warhammer instead. Oh well.
Digitigrade padding is sewn on one leg, next leg will be done tomorrow/Monday. still not sure whether to attach feet to the legs or do them separate..
Seem to have everything for the cosplay including...
Red contact lenses
Collar + Leash
Wont have a suit since... I'd die of heat in the middle of May.
Just need to style the wig, finish off painting my fake claws since I have a bazillion of them and maybe by some fangs for fun.
