26th July 2010: Amecon ball Wearing this at the Grand Cosplay Ball was a lot of fun, so I think I may wear it again to the upcoming Amecon ball. I may add some leaves to the apple to complete the effect, will have to look into how best to make them.
12th November 2009: First steps I have the suit & shirt ready. I also have the apple, thanks to Kiichan!
Now I just have to get a bowler hat and tie. Most o fth ehats I've seen so far have been pretty pricey, so going to look at some fancy dress shops and cheaper shops shortly.
I am still wondering whether to strap a frame on back, along with a background. It would look good, but could be very unweildy at the Cosplay Ball? I'll think about that.

wOw, nice one Tom. For the Apple, I probably would have gone for the polystyrene ball, covered with a light coating of paper mache, or another coating of your choice.
Will be interesting to see the final piece.
drowned_panda - 31st August 2009 Thanks guys. That is a great idea k4tt, but I'm considering using a real apple for this, hung from the hat with homemade leaves attached, just to save on money. I want to save cash for my next 'fine art' cosplay idea.

Mainly as Magritte has been my favourite artist since I was tiny.
This makes me fan-girl squeel more than anything else!
