Are all those separate plate pieces moulded from worbla? This is amazing! :D

Thank you so much for your lovely comments! The plate pieces are actually made from Sculpey clay, by making an inverted mould first and then pressing and baking each piece individually.

Toecaps - redo in Worbla
Nose prosthetic
Pattern in velvet coat
Knee caps

Total cost: £0.00

Managed to finish Orcrist in time for the cosplay pics at Hampton Court. It is not perfect but for the pictures it looks awesome and for a first attempt done under time pressure I am soooo proud of the result :D

Worbla Toe Caps

Finished my first ever worbla item - Thorin's left toecap! Love this material. It is reasonably easy to work with, as long as you don't heat it too hot it holds it shape very well, hardens perfectly (and if it is not perfect you simply reheat and do it again!) and paints very well. Looks so much better than my first attempt at these with Primo, which was just so heavy and would not stick properly to the leather. Here is the finished product (not yet attached but ready to go!)
