Aboslutely adore this dress and designer Michael Cinco who designed it. I know this is a huge under taking, especially with hand making each flower, but it will be so worth it when its finsihed in time for LFCC

THIS IS SO GOOOOD! <3 Such a creative use of hot glue! Love it and can't wait to see the finished cosplay!

Angelphie posted on 21 March, 2015 - 15:19
This looks incredible already, it'll be so impressive when it's complete. So much detail!

ArcaneArchery posted on 22 March, 2015 - 19:54
The amount of work that has gone into that headdress is amazing. Using a glue gun to make the glyphs is very inventive but will the finished pieces be durable enough in the kind of heat that you usually get during LFCC?

Frederica la Noir posted on 22 March, 2015 - 20:12
In theory they should be fine I've not had this hot glue perish before at LFCC :) if not I'm not too worried as they're just a temporary measure until I can afford to have them lasercut out of mirrored acrylic (it'll be like £200 and I don't have that spare atm :()

White Tigress posted on 24 March, 2015 - 23:07
The headdress is incredible! :D I love seeing the textures of the flowers! Simply fantastic!

Quinzel posted on 25 March, 2015 - 22:23

Well what I was about to say has already been said so I may sound like a broken record on repeat. Anyways I can't wait to see this finished, if I'm lucky I may even spot you at Wales Comic Con though now I think about it something like this would be hard to miss.

One of my favourite kanzashi flowers that I made to go on this gown, it is made from duchess satin and adorned in rhinestones, and took about 4hours to make.
