Captain Boomerang (Justice League Unlimited) - DC Comics/ The Flash/ Suicide Squad

Consists of Wellington Boots and Black Skinny Jeans which I already own. Bought a blue zipped vest and black motorcycle gauntlets. A light blue trench coat I bought was dyed a darker blue, and boomerang patches made from a grey/silver material were sewn on. The hat is made out of dyed-blue fabric, with a foam boomerang attached. Foam boomerangs spray-painted silver were attached to a bandoleer made of black leatherette. The scarf was made out of white cotton.Am growing out my sideburns specially for this costume and putting my hair up in a ponytail (as the character ha around the Darkest Night storyline in the comics) Was worn on the Friday of Alcon 2015 and the Sunday of London Comic Con October 2015, ad will be worn Saturday, July 30th for MCM Manchester

Oh this is nice! Great choice of character design for the Captain, and the costume itself is clear, sharp and bold. Wonderfully done :)

Repair

So after MCM London I washed the coat to freshen it up, which caused the glue holding the boomerang patches to the arms to melt and the patches to fall off, and I've now finally gotten around to gluing them back on

29th August 2015

Complete

I've glued the boomerang patches onto the arms of the coat, and thus have completed the costume! :D

Fabric Dyeing Mishap

I dyed the fabric for the hat and the coat, but they turned out darker than I expected :( Will have to wash them again with some Pre-Dye to lighten the colour
