Wander - Shadow of the Colossus

Started working on this april. had the materials and everything just never got around to doing anything with it. I played the game through multiple times and it had been so long since i had done that. A friend of mine showed me a hilarious playthrough by the people known as Game Grumps on youtube and for some reason it just rekindled my passion to get going on g and finish this.
it's still going to be alot of work. Alot of detail involved with each of these pieces ;)

Ty! Trying to add as much as i can see via the game or by checking out other cosplayers. It's really been a mixed bag lol

Great to see someone doing such as rarely cosplayed character. The cloak pattern and runic script on the sleeves is looking awesome

Thank you so much :) I'm really happy to be this much closer to finishing it! Still have some other small details to add but in due time. I want to get the bulk of this costume complete.

Sword progress will be a little bit slow !

Waiting to sand the sword. I need my little hand sander but i left it at my father in laws place a year ago when i was going to be working on a mask. He moved it around a bunch of times and has no idea where it's at other than possibly in his garage. It was brand new and in the box still so no way he would have thrown that out lol. He just threw out his back on thursday so he said he was waiting till the meds kicked in. I called him yesterday and felt horrible for bothering him about it. I didnt think this sword with celluclay would be dry already but it is..So, now i'm stuck. Hand sanding it is just out of the question since i need 80 grit paper. Not the 100 i have. Hell, 60 would be even better. I feel like i'd get a better finish, have more control, AND it would take less time if i used the electric hand sander.

Details details details..

i still have quite a bit to do. I went through all the detailing on the bodice and put a nice little gold accent around each of the letters. I wanted to make them pop a little more without making them bling bling. In this picture you can see the difference between the sleeves, where i added the gold, and the bodice where i hadn't. I don't want this to look super clean since *sad sigh* i will be dirtying this all up when i'm done. I want it to look like beginning of the game Wander though, so, I wont be tearing anything. Just making it look dirty. It's so hard even thinking about making something like this dirty. Usually i'm like all for it. In this case, however, it pains me. I've never had to rough up something that i've put so much work into.
I need to wait for the bones to continue to soak. The femurs/leg bones were too thick and not alot of the marrow disappeared. When we cut off the ends of em there was a horrid smell along with peroxide that leaked out from me soaking em. It's gonna take some time to get this belt portion finished so forgive me on my lack of uploading pics in the meantime. I need to be sure that these bones actually are clean and sanitized before i do any further work.
