| I am really proud of the dress! It came out exactly how I wanted! :D The legwarmers need a bit more work, but for the saturday of expo where you are shoved everywhere, yeah, nobody but me noticed XD Had the odd photo taken, but the ones done in the room before I left into the wind were the best haha...will probably improve and re-use for later cons :D Maybe add some accessories like her tiara or the ears and tail ;) The dress is a standard pleated purple dress I managed to get my hands on and the pattern is made from patchwork fabric. I decided to glue it down because her cutie mark does look stuck on, and seeing as I don't have epic embroider skills, it worked well. The legwarmers were a little frankensteined on the day as the pattern fell off the night before meaning no time for the pink to be properly attached was given. I plan on making/getting better ones for future cons, as those really were annoying. |
