Rorschach - Watchmen

Hat was found on Ebay. Swapped out the hat band from another vintage fedora.

Trench coat was originally a grey sand colour. Dyed it and then coated the whole thing in a few coats of wax.

Mask was made from an "unfinished" silk weave. Template of inkblot in black mesh fabric was fused to the front and then painted over using fabric paint and watered down fabric paint to achieve the transitional "morphing" look.
Vision is 100% and eyes can't be seen even in flash photography.

Scarf is a darker shade of the same material used to make the mask.

Gloves and boots were dyed to the same colour with leather dye.

Feels good to wear it. People generally tend to move out of your way when they see you coming.

Got to meet Jackie Earl Hayley who played Rorschach in the movie version of Watchmen. He really seemed to like it. Traded a few lines from the comic with him and made each other laugh. Got given a ticket to the premiere. Sometimes it pays to cosplay.
