| As this was my first cosplay I wanted to go with something reasonably cheap and easy to put together. I chose it because I love the Resident Evil franchise and I figured the best place to start would be with Jill's outfit from Nemesis as it would be easy to source the props needed. The hardest part of this outfit was finding a boob tube the right shade of blue, I did spend quite a while sourcing it and after a couple of weeks of persistent searching I finally came across one on e-bay. The easiest part was finding the black skirt as they are so easy to come by from any local clothes shop. I have learned from this that even though I may not be the thinnest cosplayer out there, I can find the confidence to pull off an outfit that I love, the first time I wore this outfit I felt such a rush of pride that I had managed to piece it together using everyday clothes. I felt so confident I entered into my first cosplay masquerade and I absolutely loved it. |
