Marin - The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening

Information

I'm on a bit of a Zelda kick (when am I not really?), and I've been meaning to upload this cosplay for a while! At the Zelda Symphony 2013, they did a BEAUTIFUL ensemble of The Ballad of the Wind Fish, which is one of my favourite Zelda melodies, I got all of the Awakening feels.

I must admit, the first time I played Link's Awakening during my foolish youth, I didn't like Marin very much because OMG SHE'S NOT ZELDA GTFO . More recent playthroughs have proven my past self to be an idiot. Marin kicks ass.

Will definately do a shoot at the beach in this in the very least, but first I'm hoping to wear her to the Symphony of the Goddesses in April 2015!

SotG 2015: Oh my gosh this is the comfiest cosplay! Sadly my hibiscus never arrived so I had to use something as similar as possible from work, and I stupidly forgot the pendant. I can't wait to rewear this, but I want to neaten up the dress patterns a bit first c:

I adore Marin - she's so undercosplayed and you've done a lovely job of her!

"SHE'S NOT ZELDA" Best excuse not to like someone ever. You look seriously cute and it looks so well made, I wouldn't have guessed you made it super quickly right after Ame!

Gotta sew fast!

Seeing as I only started this last Thursday and then went to Ame, I'm surprised by how quickly this is coming together! Major thanks to my mum who has done a bit of the detail while I've been at work <3
