A Tight Squeeze

Since our last foray into Cosplay as Professor Layton and a 7 Months Pregnant Emmy Altava, we have aquired a new addition to the Wookiee household. A screaming snotbag little'un to contend with means another new costume to sort out and very little time in which to sort it; between nappy changes, feeds and trips to the doctor it's going to be a very tight squeeze indeed.

Most of this trio's get up is going to have to be cobbled together from eBay and charity shop purchases, due to having very little time to sew everything. I'm going to utilise my to-do list to great effect here, as there's a lot to get and so very little time to get it in.

There are some "big" bits within this project, and some small ones. I'm going to list some of them here so as to better organise my thoughts.

1) A dress fit for a Wookiee.
Luckily a very kind family member is a keen am-dram aficionado and knows a thing or two about pantomime dames. All I have to do here is sneak in the fuzzy one's measurements and this can be made quite easily in a day or two.

2) A head for Holly.
I've got my eye on a few 99p deals on old TVs on eBay which I'm going to hollow out and make into a nice little headpiece. Then all that's left to do is find a wig to cover my dreads and apply lipstick.

3) Is it a pram? Is it a pool table?
Making the pram into a pool table is going to be a tricky one. I have a good feeling that a certain senior in the family kept the old kid's table from when I were a lass, so this could be easier than I first thought. Find a box, write "OUROBOROS" in big black letters and insert baby.

That's all for today. I'm off to eBay to try and source some bits and pieces for this endeavour. Later smeg'eads!
