Yuki - Fruits Basket.
Commissioned by MoonLily for Kita-con. Work included trimming and shaping the bangs and sides and gelling the back.
This commission cost:$60

Cloud - Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
Commissioned for May London Expo 09. Work included spiking the whole wig, individually trimming each spike and shaping the back into the single point.
This commission cost: $60

Freya - Chobits.
Commissioned as a repair and style for May London Expo 09. This wig came in such a poor condition! First step consisted of removing the spools and cutting away the blue-tak used to to hold them in, 4 hours of removing knots and tangles. This left the wig extremely frizzy so multiple hot water treatments with conditioner were used to straighten it out as much as possible. Once the wig was dry it was brushed again and styled which included separating the fronts and re-attaching the spools.
Repair and style cost: $40

How do you get the wigs like straight and shiney? like the Freya wig, how on earth did you manage to sort that out?

About 4 days of straightening and a lot of conditioner! XD

wow ouch, so i take it the wigs are heat resistant or something? xD it's just that i have a 51" Yoko ritona wig and i need to sort it out a bit.

Completely the opposite! ^^ As they're made from a plastic fibre they're actually really susceptible to heat so I use hot water treatments rather than anything for actually straitening hair. Unless you've got a pair of straiteners with a heat level setting that goes quite low it can actually melt the wig! If it's 51 inches then I'm guessing it's a copper red wig from ebay? If it is, that's actually the same wig that Freya was and the one I use for my Yoko wigs so do let me know if you need any help with it.
