Shaka (Gold Cloth) - Saint Seiya

Matt changed his mind over which saint he wanted to be. Mainly because I pointed out that Ikki's costume would make him look fat.

Yay for honesty XD

Oh my goodness, Saint Seiya cosplay is go! This has made my day to learn someone will be cosplaying this soon- I can't wait to see how it all turns out, I love the show and reckon you guys'll look damn awesome. And now I have Pegasus Fantasy stuck in my head. Go get 'em guys! (So much gold in one place will be kickass)

Us four will be like a gold blur! It's so great to see that people actually know the series- we thought it wouldn't be that well known because it's pretty old! Tab

Hi!, will you wear this also for May Expo?? I'd really love to see these costums, but don't think I'll make it to Minami =/. (the question is for any of your Saint Seiya costums).

We'll be wearing them on the Sunday! And doing our amazing ultra gold Skit! Tab

Wow that is amazing progress! What are you making the armour from?

Wow, skillful construction process going on there. I love seeing WIP pics.. so much can be learned by looking at different peoples construction methods and materials. Sharing like this is a great bonus for our cosplay community. ^-^ Thanks for sharing your costume progress pics with us too. ;)

Thank you for your kind comment! These shoulders have been the hardest to do by far- each one is made of 8 separate pieces, and was pretty damn difficult to get the curve of the shoulder right. WIP is the best. Tab

Excellent progress I can't wait to see the finished piece. Got to love the 80's flashback.

Wait... it's not the 80's still? XD Heh. Funnily enough I never actually saw the 80's. I was born in 1990. Tab

Lol! I'm a child of the 80's. I was born in the 70's. I can tell you that you definatly have the right feel for the cossie going on there. Excellent work. I do admire yuor armour building skills.
