Ezio Auditore Da Firenze (Female Version) - Assassin's Creed II

I always wanted to cosplay various characters over the years and then finally Ezio came along and I was/am so obsessed with Assassin's Creed that I had to try it. And what came out of it, well, you can see it here.
I simply loved the whole atmosphere of the game, and I have been to Italy a few times in my life...And then playing was just not enough, so I had to take the next step and make myself a part of it!

I have never really learned how to sew or tailor, so it was quite a challenge...but rarely ever I had a hobby which made me so happy! I think the hardest part of putting this cosplay together where the red stripes on the tunic - I went through so many problems putting them up, only to discover that I could have BOUGHT a ribbon, instead of cumbersomely tailoring my own stripes from red fabric. OH WELL. I thought the hood and the cape would be the most tricky bits, but the hood was the first fully finished item and I loved it from the moment I first put it on. The cape was really simple in the end and I love how it fluttered!
I really really enjoyed working on the leather armour bits and the sword belt, and I am quite happy with how they turned out.

And then wearing it...finally putting every single bit on and donning that cape, buckling the sword belt and pulling the hood into my eyes, was just EPIC. My heart sped up and I was so excited...and then it was just to show my housemates!
For the London MCM Expo, I was so much more excited! I had never been to anything like it before (I am from Austria originally, and Cosplay, Manga & Anime are unheard of there. I was always made fun of for drawing Manga and watching Anime...) and it was great. It was like heaven.
If I could go to my 14-year old self and tell her that everything will be fine and that she shouldn't worry about wanting to do all these things...*sigh*

I can't wait for the next occasion to wear my costume, may it be Ezio or my next ones...

Wow, I love the detail you've gone into, making all the little pouches and everything. Very well done. It's rare to see an AC cosplay that stands out these days.
