Sasame in the anime Pretear is the Leafe of sound, his character is slightly flirtatious and gentle with a side job as a radio personality, addressing peoples problems on-air.

I decided to do this character for three reasons;1) I like the character's nature and mannerisms and believe it would prove a challenge to emulate his persona. 2) The costume is relatively simple to construct and compared to my two other Amecon projects will prove to be better suited to the evenings entertainment and finally 3) A friend will also be cosplaying Hayate, so will be able to do some interaction character to character!

The sourcing of 'ingredients' should prove little problem with the exception of the jacket (finding an off white jacket in that size and style is proving problematic...) and the pendant of which I am constructing myself.

Nice to actually see some people still remember this series!

Yes! He's up! If I can figure out how to do Hayate's leafe outfit I will have both for Amecon. Looking forward to it.

Thank you! I only recently got into this one as a recomendation by a friend, I liked so decided to cosplay as a nod of the hat as such.

Leafe will prove difficult to do for Amecon this time but is definately in mind for the future ;)

Missing pieces acquired! (Posted 21st June 2012)

What a productive day! On my hard earned lunch break I have got some Trowsers for Leonard, the shoes for Sasame and a pair of twill shorts which are due to be canibalised for the lapels on Sasame's shirt.. Very happy chappie.
Charity shops are proving to be an absolute goldmine for cosplay components all the above for £15.

Ear clip engraved, time to start on the pendant (Posted 20th June 2012)

Thanks to my new rotary tool the ear clip is engraved and not looking too bad for something so small and fiddly. Still no sign of the cross though... However I can do part of the pendant with the beads and just wait for the cross to arrive.

WooHoo! ear clip and cross acquired (Posted 4th June 2012)

After extensive trawling of the net I have acquired the ear piece and cross for the pendant. Work willing I can get the other components for the pendant tomorrow on lunch break.
