O-Ren Ishii (White Kimono) - Kill Bill

Doing a Kill Bill theme for Hallowe'en! I can't wait!
I will be making a cheated version of the obi involving velcro and bulit in hidden pockets! Sorry to disappoint but I'm going clubbing as usual and I detest carrying my handbag as it is! I would also like to have a bash at making a sword properly but due to time restrictions and also the fact that I might not get into a club with it I think I shall make an obviously rubbish card-cum-paper mache one! Don't know how to do my hair so I'm gonna get Lu to learn to do the french twist, although I'm worried it might not work with hair as long as mine! CURSE YOU BASTARD HAIR!!!

Stunning. You look so beautiful. We need photos together when I get around to doing the 'Bride'. Also I know a 'Gogo' (Its Hester).

Et Voila!

Well all is finished... ish! But I'm still very happy with the results! I felt I did really well to say I did not have enough fabric (at least half a metre short) so the fact that this materialised was through cheating techniques, taking short cuts ans sheer will power. Halloween is a cosplayer's worst enemy! If you squint in the pics I also did not have white tabi, making them with limited white cloth proved impossible so I had to dig around in my drawers for a black pair of those cute tabi socks you could get from Muji (i miss that shop!). Black proved the only colour I pick out of black, red, orange or green. I also didn't have time to make the sword and wanted to compromise by doing a long fake cut across my head where O-Ren gets scalped, but that looked crap so I gave up and just enjoyed the fact that I was in a kimono shuffling through Manchester!
