Ciel Phantomhive (Valentine's Chocolate Edition) - Kuroshitsuji

In Progress

Ayacon 2011

Elizabeth Middleford and Ciel Phantomhive from Kuroshitsuji! Worn on the Friday of Ayacon with Snake and Charles Grey.

Ciel- Tsupo
Lizzie- BernieBear
Snake (Butler uniform)- Yukioto
Charles Grey- Yuki

I was so gutted I didn't manage to finish this! I adore the designs but trying to juggle this with Mahmut was a little bit too much. Waistcoat and shorts made by me (still working on his tailcoat, boot covers and accessories!)

Due to time, money and fabric availability, I drew up a design with slightly clearer print and shape so that Lizzie and I were almost completely matching and the pattern was a little bit easier to find. We based most of the fabric choices on a) Tartans and tweeds which were popular during the Victorian era and b) yummy looking cake/chocolate/caramel prints that exaggerated the valentine's day themed chocolate cover!

My gorgeous darling Lizzie made a huge effort and stitched all of the diamond pattern onto her dress and even made my hat for me when I didn't have time! It smelled like chocolate! Even though none of our cosplays were completely finished, I had an awesome time escorting my Fiance around and dancing a (slightly drunken) waltz with her at the party.

Aww these were so cute at Ayacon, you're the guys who borrowed our lollipops for a shoot. :)
