thank you!! ^_^ it needs adjusting a bit, the crotch is too low =[ I'm either going to attempt to adjust it or have to get another. I don't think the peeps that made it compensated for my feet

Progress Journal

ugh

so basically this is a pain in the ass, but I'm determined to do it.
I need to get a better suit and figure out if one of my red wigs will work for this.
I also need to try and do something with her feet. I'd rather not ruin the base of the feet on the suit by just walking around "bare foot" but trying to find boots/shoes that blend in etc. is annoyingly difficult.

change of plans

so I do actually intend on wearing this at some point but with a different wig, I'd use my Ariel/Jean Grey wig instead as I think it'll look better, plus I plan on chopping this wig a little shorter and adding a proper fringe to use for Black Widow.

finished pics

waiting for the wig and suit to arrive then I can make the brooch, I want the brooch shape to match the suit logo shape, and then it'll be finished and I can get some final costume pics up.

5th January 2012

feet

I've got two options.

1 I'm going to get some cheap slippers (pic), chop them and then attach them to the feet of the suit. that way the fabric of the feet on the suit won't get ruined by all the walking around.

2 get some gold high heels and wear them over the top.

4th January 2012

brooch

the brooch (pic) she wears on the sash isn't including in the costume I'm getting so I'm making it myself.
it'll only cost about £3 to make as I'm going to get a brooch fastening (£1.30 or something like that for a bag of 10) and a 8" gold cake card (£2ish)
easy - cut out the brooch shape and glue to the fastening, done!
