Information

Worn at London MCM October 2011 and got so much love

Omgzorz I loved making this so muchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

This was JOINT PROJECT
The costume was about 90% made by my friend who was the wearer, (I was Lightning) I made the weapon (Gulgner) myself, it is functional and comes apart

Unfortunately as time progressed we ran out of resources that are only avaliable in summer-or on ebay at stupid shipping times- so theres no shield despite us calling this costume complete, but it has been worn and in many shoots.

Costumeeee:
Made mostly of foam, rub'n'buff and acrylic paint, masking tape, wire tape, Fish glue, plenty of shaping wire, glue mixed in the paint, 3 scarves, long chains, and plenty of charms, all held on with elastic over black leggings and a polo-neck, and a cap to hide my friends vibrant red hair
+ green face paint :D

This costume got extremely hot + extremely cold :D
and because of the size of the helmet, Sophie would often blow away (Excel's really windy haha)

Casualties:
We had a casualty on one of the knees, and a shoe,
But some people are impatient enough to shove past people with large costumes, and stood on Sophie's foot- however this is repairable

Gulgner:
Hard board, dowling, double ended screws, paint, tons of tape, electrical wire,
Tool used for engravings + blade edge: a Router
stands about 5'9" tall a comfortable weight but cant be run around with, I have held this weapon above my head and span it around and it was stable, but the dowling in this probably wouldnt hold being thrown about
