Information

Along with Sailor Moon, Cardcaptors was one of the first anime series I was introduced to when it was shown on TV whilst I was at school. It remains a firm favourite with me today even after seeing many other series. Choosing just one of Sakura's many costumes to do was a hard task! I may end up doing another at some point but this is definitely one of favs, prob due to the overload of pink! XD

This is the battle costume she wears during the final fight with the Sealed/Void/Nothing card (which later becomes The Hope card). As usual Tomoyo made the costume for Sakura and she also made a matching costume for Syaoran too saying that Sakura always came back safe when she wore her costumes and she wanted Syaoran to come back safe too.

"Sakura is an extremely energetic and cheerful character. She is very athletic, being a member of her school's cheerleading squad and an excellent runner. Her "invincible spell", "Everything will surely be all right." has carried her through innumerable trials and obstacles as she masters her magical skills. She often comes across as naïve, clumsy, dense and clueless, but she has her perceptive moments on occasion. Sakura's optimistic and trustworthy character allows her to be friendly with everybody. Her charm can win anyone (as shown with Syaoran in the series) and she's very scared of ghosts. Ironically she has no fear of the Clow Cards."
