Trava (Trava: Fist Planet version) - Redline

Made for the costume contest at the Bath Little Theatre Cinema special screening of Redline.

It's not entirely accurate, though I did my best to suggest his colouring by borrowing a hoodie in the right shade of blue. It was just too cold to go out in a torn-up wifebeater and body paint! I did what I could in the time I had. :P The ears were made out of a torn pair of elf prosthetics and an old pair of slippers, some leftover paint from the Warhammer of Zillyhoo, and lined with chickenwire from the same. The blue dye I used was for a Kusuriuri cosplay that never quite came to fruition. Hardest part was finding a yellow vest with only a day to make it! I bought an Arsenal shirt from the sale rail at my local sports shop, cut it up, turned it inside out (they have very nicely finished seams, so that didn't show) and wore it backwards with a backpack covering the badges. I did the design on the front with a red Sharpie and a black OHP pen. :P The scar is latex and facepaint (leftovers) and the body mods are Model Magic with spray-on silver, secured with spirit gum (also all hanging around the house). White lipstick was bought for PM. Smells very weird. It would have been far too expensive to throw together if I didn't have so much stuff around, but it was pretty fun as it was! Just a shame that Trava wasn't such a giant tit in Redline, when I actually got to see it. Also his arse wasn't huge, and he didn't have his weird forehead implants. I sort of wonder if Shinkai had him lobotomised. :P

Cool costume, not enough time to knock up a Shinkai cosplay too then? XD It was good to see them again in Redline, even if only a few people knew who they were XD

I really wanted my cosplay bro to come as Shinkai! She was sort of skeezed out by the idea of having to stay at a hostel we'd not had time to check out though, and she also had a Halloween party to set up. She bailed on me pretty quickly. :P But thank you! It's fun to be the first cosplay registered on the site for a film that might well become quite big. :D
