Sakura (Dream Dress) - Tsubasa : Resevoir Chronicle

For Anyone who is not Up-to Date with this manga I shall Try not to spoil too much.. Recently this costume has had alot more meaning and I feel that it warrents a cosplay.

PLus is kindof simpler than some of my previous projects *cough* *Seth* *Cough* and I feel Like a break!

I am tempted to make a matching pair of wings, Tsubasa wings, they kindof look like ribbons magically floating out of sakuras back...... hmmm... I've seen an american cosplayer do it...

Update: I've finished doing the costume sketches for this costume, I have also already chosen the fabrics I am going to be using.

I am currently in the process of designing the wings structure and harness, Which will probably be based around a underbust corset.

EDIT: Wings aint gonna happen... But so far its looking good! Few More things to do now! Mainly beadwork and Hemming..... :S

Update: All done, I look forward to wearing this at the expo ^_^

This costume is so lovely and beautiful I'm afraid I'm not very far in the Tsubasa story but I love most - if not all - of Sakura's dresses both in the story and in artbook pictures! This dress is made of win! Can't wait to see it in person! :D

Your hands look freezing in the snow photos but it's worth it. Snow covering sakura trees don't come by often!
