Sakaki (Summer Uniform) - Azumanga Daioh

Information

I'm making this for Kitacon 2012, so i'll update the 'event' bit as soon as Kita 2012 gets listed ;)

This is the summer version of the uniform. I prefer it because it's blue. I've been meaning to do this one for a while, she's one of my all time favourite characters. Depending how I feel, I might do the winter version too - means i'll be carrying less wigs to Kita if I do multiple versions of 1 character.

Shoes and Socks

It's harder than you'd think to find good brown school shoes. Anyways I found some a couple of weeks ago that were perfect, and the long black socks arrived today.

Full cosplay photos probably won't be taken until Kitacon or near the time.

The Bag!

I wanted to start with my Sakaki prop before the uniform so I went to look on ebay. I couldn't find any satchel bags that looked right, all of them were either the wrong colour, wrong material or they had a shoulder strap instead of a handle. After about 3 hours of searching all the keywords I could think of, I finally found a used one. It looks so good! I was made up when I found it and ordered it straight away, only cost me £20 and as you can see it needs very little work doing. I just need to add some buckles and a silver bit.
