Hows it coming? I think domestic sewing machines in general have a hard time with lycra. If it has a S.S. (stretch stitch) setting that should help - mine is on the stitch length control and is written in red). But even then it can skip and miss sticthces.

I've got all the individual panels tacked and ready to sew, and while my sewing machine has a fair few settings for stretch stitches, it just ruins my fabric. Not to mention the tension keeps buggering up with every stitch! I sort it out, start sewing and then it goes crazy again. At least I can use pocket-tammy's for the time being.

Just a thought...I discovered that the tension thing on the bobbin case can go out of adjustment too and that can cause real problems. So for the price of a new bobbin case you might find your machine seems like new again.. Well, you know what I mean. :) A friend borrowed my bobbin case to try in her machine and it made her machine work properly again..so she bought a new bobbin case for hers and was happy.
