Nimueh (Servant Outfit) - Merlin (BBC)

Originally to be for Friday of May Expo, I totally didn't get it done in time! So I'll now be wearing it to Manchester Expo at the end of July :D

I thought it would be comfy as hell, but after trying it on in the making stages, I can honestly say linen is one of the scratchiest fabrics I have ever worn D: So gonna have to wear leggings and a cami underneath or something...

Need to reposition the straps, and maybe make a better turban, but bloody hell I loved wearing this!

I can't wait to see this. :) I've never seen anyone cosplay Nimueh before!

Finally got round to buying fabric

So yeah, finally got around to buying all the fabric I'd need for this, just waiting for all these damn bank holidays to stop so I can get my post D:<

I've mocked up a doll size version of this dress, and it's pretty simple to make-just a selection of rectangles. I might take it in at the waist slightly if I need to make it more flattering though. I do not have the body of Nimueh, so it shall take some tucks and folds to stop me looking like an idiot in a sack.

I think for the hat, I'll make a sort of 'beanie' out of the blue, then wrap and sew the twisted fabric around it, to make sure it doesn't fall off during the day.

My hair isn't quite long enough at the front to be able to use, so I'll be going into Claire's Accessories to buy some cheap clip in extensions which I can clip into my own hair under the hat...

In my head, this will be easy as hell to make, and shouldn't even take a day. Knowing my luck, something will go horrendously wrong though...
