Information

The Motoslave from Bubblegum Crisis.

Latex over plastazoat construction, with a wooden backplate to support the thrusters and rear detail. Generally this costume required much more complex shapes and constructions than my previous Mecha suits.

Originally I was thinking of going for the real old school version but with a few people planning/working on 2040 hard suits I decided that the newer version would be more fun.

The costume isn’t finished nearly as well as I would have liked and I’m hoping to install some lighting before it’s next outing but it came out much better than I was expecting with all the pieces coming out to a good proportion.

The current gun is a cheat – lack of time meant I used the gun from Goldies Valkyrie, but I will make the correct one.

Great costume. I'm impressed by the intricate shapes you acheived. I Look forward to getting pictures later in the year once I've completed Priss.

WoW! just wow, how easy is plast to work with? as well where do you get it? Amazing Job :]

Pretty easy, 6mm zote foam can be neatly cut with knife or scissors and it can be heatformed. Use a good impact adhesive to stick it all together. I normally get mine from Flints, not the cheapest of materials though.

Awesome stuff as usual. I'm *still* in the middle of making all the girls' Hardsuits, but when theKillingDoll finishes with his Priss, I'd like to tag along with some of the other girls if possible You know, give those Stormtroopers a run for their money ;)

This was amazing - BGC2040 was one of the first series I bought on VHS back in the day in full, and whilst I've seen the odd Priss hardsuit cosplayer, not much in the way of UK cosplays. Then THIS appeared at Minamicon 17. Geez man - this was amazing. Motoslave FTW!
