Ezio Auditore da Firenze - Assassin's Creed II

London MCM Expo May 2010

Ubisoft's Best Assassin's Creed Costume - London MCM Expo 29th October 2011

I have a horrible habit of mentally planning out cosplays whenever I see a character I like. Ezio was put onto my list of 'Cosplays I'd love to do but would realistically never happen' and that was that... until my brother asked me to make him an Ezio costume for a fancy dress party. WHOOPS. So we made a basic version early March 2010, and it was perfected for the London MCM Expo in May of that year.

Everything is 100% handmade bar the trousers which were bought online, and I'm very proud of this! You see far too many Ezio cosplays that are the same cosplay from eBay.

So far it's been worn to the London MCM Expos in May and October 2010 and October 2011, the London Film & Comic Con in July 2010, and Kapow! Comic Con in April 2011.

How did you get the pattern on the collar?

@DarkSora: They're painted on with (many layers of) fabric paint and lightly embroidered to bring out the main details. Time consuming. xD @Anna: <3333333

Oh wow, you're an amaaazing Ezio! I can't believe I missed this at Expo D8 Love the vambrace, you did a fabulous job on all the craftwork!

Hell yeah we need photos together! If you plan to wear this to another expo next year, could I steal you to be my Ezio when I do Leonardo? I'm not sure which expo... whichever is good for you 8D if not, I still demand a photo shoot sometime! 8D

It would be a pleasure to be your Ezio! :D I've been such a fan of yours for years, I'm so flattered that you'd like to have photos with me. xD I can wear Ezio again anytime next year (May Expo will probably be the best), I'm not booked up with any other cosplays yet.

*brofist* Thanks for being so ridiculously awesome to not buy this outfit, like so many other do, it's not that buying irks me, it's just that the bought outfit looks sooooo crap, and you're making a fine example of being a 28320389 times cooler! Great job on ALL the details!

It was nice seeing this IRL! ^^

Auditore Cape

Very nearly done with the Auditore Cape! (Which is the final cape you unlock in ACII after collecting all 100 feathers)

Well, the cape and the emblem themselves are made, I just need to stitch the latter onto the former. The cape is black velvet (which looked better than leather in the end) as apposed to the plain cape's brown leather. Sorry for how messy the photo is, the emblem is just pinned into position. :P

LFCC 2010

Just got back from LFCC; the convention itself wasn't as good as i'd hoped but I managed to wear Ezio after I'd made adjustments after Expo! Hood was so much better, cape was better, glove was better and my hair decided not to mess up! Very happy with this costume now, look forward to some new photos soon.

Managed to get some photos by Cosplay Fever too, let's hope I make it into their next book!

Preparing for London Film and Comic Con

Remade the glove for LFCC; if anybody remembers the glove I had for MCM in May was real leather and the dye actually seeped into my skin for some god awful reason and my hand was stained black for weeks. As well as having a mangled hand, I had a mangled glove I didn't want to be near. Alas, I had to make a new one! This time I made it with pleather, so we'll not come to the problem of it staining my hand again.

It's more accurate now, too!

Costume Done - Scar Makeup

The main costume is done now! This is the first scar I tried painting on my lips, I now know how to perfect the skill of making it look like I was hit in the face with a rock like dear old Ezio!

16th April 2010

Most things done now, finished off the belts and done the left bracer.

2nd March 2010

Sash/Belts WIP

Trying out the nearly finished belts on some red fabric, to see how they'll look when they're done. :D
