4th April 2010: wig for Rosso I snapped up a lovely Auburn Red wig for this cosplay. It will need a lot of styling to make the front look right, maybe even addition of a lace front. I haven't done any difficult wig styling yet so I'm not sure if I will be able to make it look exact. I will have a go though. But if I can't manage to style it exactly, it looks pretty ok actually even just swept up with hair grips. I'm pleased with this wig already. :)
26th November 2009: Planning Woohoo, found a seller on eBy who does sew on reflective blue tape - shall be able to use this for the glowing blue stripes on the costume. :)
Started looking into the design of Rossos double bladed weapon. Boy that thing is complicated. eg when the blades are open they are dead in line, but when closed they dont clash into each other. They must fold away from the centre line as they close. This is gonna take some clever engineering to make it work...

Nah its not that kind of Group, we usually just focus on the masses and get the shoots done for Series like DoC. I know we've got a Selke and Vincent (Aka DarkNyte) For October And they might want to go with you on the Masquerade.
I've got a Different group planned for October Expo =D You'll love it.. It's got spikes this time!
But surely! Rosso will be so cool! I practically can't wait. Got any underlying Ideas?

Yeah lots of difficult elements on this, mainly her gun blade weapon. I want to make one that can flick out properly. If I can make this work it will be awesome part of the cosplay.
So far I have got ankle boots which are a good match, and a suitable wig. Her gun blade is going to have metal parts to withstand the forces of compressing the spring loaded mechanism. Im gonna make a small scale working model first to figure out how to make it all work. prob take lots of experimental versions before I find the solution that works. I will stick any progress in the journal. But I have Midlands and May Expo costumes to work on before I get back on this tbh..
