Pinkie Pie - My Little Pony: Equestria Girls

| I wanted a walk around character cosplay for Saturday, and I began to think more and more about how it would be fun to do Pinkie Pie. VIOLA! She was chosen! I think the most aggravating 2 things about making this were: 1) Her boots...I found the PERFECT boots....then we had a shit ton of problems getting them DX I got them in the end, but now it's really looking like I got to make some fabric inserts because I have wide legs and they gap a bit at the top of the calf. 2) Her wig. I knew from the get go what I needed to do. Get 2 wigs and combine them with clip-ins. Got 1 wig, perfect colour etc. Then proceeded to get a load of extensions and garbage of varying hues of pink. GAH! Ordered a second wig described as the same colour....it was darker, to the point they could never go together >_<" Ordered a THIRD wig...FINALLY it matched...the second wig....GOOD ENOUGH! I said. The dress was very similar to Twilight's and that I am happy with :D Putting it on proved a bit annoying. The 2 wigs were a tad small, but with the help of my awesome sister, we got them on. The boots later had a malfunction and the sole started to separate and my sis had to glue them while I was still wearing them. Fixed them thankfully :P |
