26th May 2016: Tailoring chef whites. I've never done any kind of tailoring in my life, so went with the "pinch it at the seam, mark with a pin, vaguely sew and cut off the excess" tactic. It seems to have works! I tell you what though, those jackets are really warm. How do chefs wear them all day in a 40 degree kitchen?!
I also got an extra weft on the advice of Amy-Lou for styling her wig into a ponytail so you can't see the scaffold underneath :) She'll be helping me with that in the next few weeks. I have some white trousers in the post and I can make a jar of goo any time really!
Such easy mode.
6th April 2016: Easy mode :) I ordered the wig and chef jacket yesterday and the former has already arrived. It's the perfect colour! I just need to style it now and that bit's done. Once the jacket arrives I need to source some bigger buttons and maybe tailor it in a bit, then find some comfy white trousers and shoes and she's done!
I'll need a prop I think, so I was either thinking of a generic mixing bowl, a bottle of "rice juice" or a jar of her fermented rice malt from the curry episode. Hmm...
