Yona - Akatsuki no Yona

I got into Akatsuki no Yona when I discovered that Matsushita Yuya was appearing in the musical version. I started reading the manga and got hooked. I love that Yona isn't a stereotypical shoujo heroine. She starts off a typical molly-coddled princess but develops into a very complex character capable of some serious badassery.

I'm doing Yona's travelling outfit, which is made up of a short pink dress underneath a darker, waist-length, kimono-style jacket with an obi sash, long earrings, and black pump shoes. Unfortunately, I don't have time to make anything myself this year, thanks to Japanese exams and my MSc dissertation, so ebay will be my friend with this one! I may even treat myself to an Ao plushie accessory (*pikyuu!*).
