Personal Bio
I'm an animation graduate from UWN, currently working and studying to become a dental nurse (slight shift in career there!). Despite seeming rather quiet at first, once i get past the shyness I am a quirky, bouncy, anime watching, book loving, rp gaming geek ^_^
Cosplay Bio
Cosplay just kinda...happened for me. lol, my first con was in 05, and a friend suggested we go in costume. Since i've always enjoyed art and textiles, creating costumes seemed like it would be fun ^_^
Obviously the first few Cosplays were less than impressive, however i am getting better with each costume. Most of the time i modify 2nd hand clothes (a lot...chopping, changing, painting, dying...) however I am learning more, and starting to do more from scratch.
So far my fave Cosplays are Alma Karma, Fai D. Flowright and Okita souji, as they're very fun to wear. I love getting to mess around as a character (its a bit like larp ^_^). I'm looking forward to attempting a few more female cosplays in the coming year too!
