Personal Bio
Hello, welcome to my page! My name is Sue, I live in Suffolk UK with my family, a cat and 3 fish.
I have been a dressmaker all my life, my aunt taught me to sew and crochet when I was young.
I am a dental nurse and have been for very many years! I have also been an NVQ Assessor, a Montessori teacher and a merchandiser.
My hobbies are fly-fishing, VW campers and of course, costume making.
I go fly fishing with my husband, we also restore VW campers together - he does the hard work and I just faff with upholstery, curtains and carpets!
Holly is my daughter and we love to go to Expo - I said it would only be once a year, but it's so much fun it is now three times a year!!
Cosplay Bio
I have always enjoyed 'dressing up' from when I was a little girl. I even played in my mums wedding dress - I still have it in the loft.
My daughter Holly took me to London Expo for the first time in May 2008, I had no idea what to expect, didn't bother to cosplay, boy, did I feel out of place!!
We went again in October 2008- this time we both cosplayed, I was Trinity (the Matrix) and Holly did Sasuke. I felt so sick with nerves, but had a great time.
We went next year in May 2009 as Jiraiya and Orochimaru, that was so much fun.
In October 2009 Holly went as Ezio from Assassins Creed and I was the 3rd Hokage from Naruto. By now I was totally hooked, our costumes were getting better every time.
My best costume (and most favourite) was Iracebeth, The Red Queen from AIW. I wore this in May 2010, I had so many photos and compliments I was totally overwhelmed.
Last May (2011) I went in The Masquerade for the first time, totally scared!! :D
I decided not to keep Holly's costumes a secret and made this a joint biography!!
