Yo! Welcome! I tend to go by the name of "Breadcrumbbz" elsewhere, but alas I can't change that on here so Annniel it is (one day I'll probably change it but meh too lazy).
You'll usually see me cosplaying characters with rage/split personality issues. Idek why this is the case, but it is. Also scientists. Because science. (And hobos because ???).
So Bruce Banner keeps sticking to me and I can't stop him sorry about that.
I tend to get ridiculously enthusiastic about things and because of this I get too excited and find it difficult to take things seriously. That's why if I actually upload any serious photographs onto this, there's a high chance it took forever to get the shot. My cosplays tend to look better in person because of this, but really I cosplay more for the social element of it. Like really, there's no better way to make friends than to dress up as a character from something you both like.
I love to laugh and find most things utterly hilarious, but my favourite comedians have to be Ricky Gervais, Steven Merchant and Karl Pilkington. Also most of what you find on tumblr has me in stitches. If you find me on the floor in hysterics don't worry - that's normal.
My Dad would always go out of his way for his fancy dress parties, so I think I've gotten my cosplaying interest from him. He's a huge geek, too, so I blame him for most of my interests, actually.
I've been part of a few cosplay groups since February 2009, but I left them at the end of 2013 due to starting University. I still cosplay with my best friends once in a while, though, and always try to convince them to cosplay characters they've never heard of. For example, one of them currently has my Dragon Age games as I'm trying to force them into it. My biggest loves in cosplay have to be wigs and make-up, but I'm really starting to get into prop making as well. I make all my cosplays myself (with the help of the internet an awful, awful lot) but this is ridiculously time-consuming and expensive so I really only make one or two costumes a year depending on the size of them.
The characters I cosplay tend to reflect my interests at the time, so I mostly cosplay from books, comics and films. I keep wanting to cosplay from games, and I have a couple of game characters as future/current projects, but I always have trouble finding the time to make them as they tend to have costumes that just don't work in real life because they can usually defy gravity.
