Personal Bio
I'll probably be updating this quite frequently because usually whenever I look back at these bios I always cringe haha! I need to get better bio writing skills~
Well I'm your average insane teenager, currently in my last year of GCSEs studies taking Art, Business Studies and DiDA ICT - I've also taken French, Music, Statistics and R.E early. Hopefully when I get into college I am hoping to take Further Mathematics, Physics, Computing, Music and Music Technology, fingers crossed I do well in GCSEs!
If there's one thing I love just as much as anime, manga, cosplay, etc is music! Almost my whole life has been dedicated to music and I'm not about to quit now hah. I mainly play the violin and piano but I used to play the electric guitar, recorder and keyboard, I can also play the organ and classic guitar through self-teaching myself - although I quickly gave them up for the piano and electric guitar.
I have also done ballet since I was little, it's great fun to do even though pointe work hurts like heeeell!! I also do jazz, that hurts as well since our teacher wants us to achieve the splits, urgh!! I could do it when I was little but only because of the help of gymnastics -__- Other sports that I enjoy doing are running, basketball, tennis and rounders. I hate hate hate football, mainly cause I suck at dribbling lol!
I'm an avid fan of Arina Tanemura's mangas, in my personal opinion she writes the best shoujos ever! I think her works was what made me love shoujos so much now! Of course I still love my shonens, meh whatever I love both!
I'm willing to give any anime/manga a try, give me suggestions and I'll take it! Video game suggestions would be good too, I'm always up for a good RPG adventure! Or a good beat 'em up... but please, no football games!
That's just about it, dunno what else to say. PM me if you wanna talk, I'm a friendly person, honest! *cough cough*
Cosplay Bio
I got into cosplay in 2005 through friends on a forum I went on. They told me about the MCM Expo and so I went in 2006 and I enjoyed myself a lot! In 2007 I figured I'd start cosplaying properly as cosplayers seemed to have a lot of fun when I went in May and Oct 06. My first actual costume was Kyo Sohma in May 06 BUT I had no wig so I couldn't really call it a proper cosplay. My first REAL cosplay was Duo Maxwell which I wore to the Midlands Expo 07 and I had so much fun that I couldn't just stop! I started modifying pre-existing clothings at first when I made my Riku costume. My first costume which I made by myself was my Moogle Mog cosplay, it was also my first mascot and I was so proud!
Cosplaying makes me happy with all the improvements you make over the time you've spent cosplaying. For instance I know I would have never been able to make my Tsubasa Sakura cosplay back in 2007! Though I still have a lot of learning to do, like how to make the frickin' hem neat! And I need to start making the insides just as neat as the outside just to make it nicer in general so that people don't puke when they see the inside of my costumes ahaha 8D
My favourite costume is definitely my Tsubasa Sakura costume. I love the coins on the costume and the amount of noise it makes is just hilarious! However my Great Saiyaman cosplay is a close second, I love being the Great Saiyaman, I really do! It's so fun making an absolute FOOL of myself! And my most annoying I mean, greatest achievement? My Garnet cosplay. You don't know how many tantrums I made with that frickin' headdress! D< Also the bodice has given me much despair *cowers in corner* But I am pretty happy with the end result! And proudest moment? Erm... winning joint first in a Tokyopop ReCon? ='D It was my first ever cosplay award XD

Okami!!
Sat, 06 Sep 2008 16:28:51 GMT
Okami is a baaaad game for me, I'm so addicted!! I've just bought the Wii version as obviously I can't steal Kytiane's PS2 version as she hasn't even completed the game yet!!! [Well she did actually let me borrow it, but I'd feel bad for playing video games instead of coursework] So I have to start all over, woe is me!! Don't know if it's any different to the PS2 version but meh, I need more games on the WIi anyways!! Gonna start it sometime in the weekday or something as I still have Catcher in the Rye to read, Frankenstein essay and mini Art extension to do [How foolish of me, I ASKED to do more work! MEEEEH!!!!] Plus I am itching to learn the rest of Maple Leaf Rag on the piano, been playing for 2hrs straight everyday and so I'm finally on the third section ohohohoho, it's so friggin' hard! Although that's what I said about the second section... Just gotta listen to it over and over then let the fingers do the magic on the piano ;D. That being said - I SHOULD be practising violin as I have County Youth Orchestra audition in October =/ Woopsie! xD;
Along with Okami I also bought Nights, hear it's pretty good so I'm looking forward to cracking that out!! Reason why I bought both was cause they were pre-owned therefore CHEAP!! BOOYAH!
Someone help me with cosplay! T^T
My Hao cosplay is seriously no where near finished, argh... I am such a procrastinator ;-;
And I am a fool as well, I picked September to do this cosplay!! Why oh why did I not make it for May or something when it's NICE, WARM AND SUNNY!! Damnit, I'm usually known for my good circulation [and known for being crazy for wearing t-shirts and shorts in Winter lol...] but now even I'M cold!! Hopefully big cloak of doom will keep me warm T^T Next time I do a cosplay like that in the wrong season please give me a wack on the head 8D
