Personal Bio
Hey there I'm limegreenjelly, I live in a small village about half hour away from Bristol.
I'm currently in a supermarket role. I love to be creative, I'm always doing something whether making clothes, baking cakes, using resin or doodling a few sketches. I do poi poi which is like juggling except for the balls are on string and they make patterns with the ribbons attached to them once spun around. I'm always up for a chat when I see people. Bubbly, friendly, full of fun and laughter.
I watch a few shows including big bang theory, supernatural, the mentalist, QI, mock of the week, Dragon's Den, etc etc
I do watch some anime including D.N. Angel, Angelic Layer, Macross Frontier, Witchblade, Durarara!, Miracle Train, Gundam Seed/Destiny, G Gundam, Gundam Wing, Devil May Cry, Jellyfish Princess, Sacred 7, 11 eyes etc etc. I'm not a big gamer but do have a go whenever given the opportunity at the moment I'm playing FFXII Revenant Wings on the DS.
Cosplay Bio
I started looking at cosplay when my friend Ken suggesting cosplaying at the MCM Expo in May 2009. My first attempt at proper cosplay was Hatsune Miku in her original uniform from the Vocaloids.
I am now becoming more and more venturous with what I do. I have attempted Penelo's armour and making some of my outfits without a pattern. I previously attempted V-13 Mecha Version from Blazblue and after this has decided to stick with fabric based costumes.
My first proudest moment is when me and my friend got shortlisted in the Neo magazine photoshoot competition with my frst costume. Second being when our Amulets from Shugo Chara got picked to go into the Cosplay Fever RED book, and my third proudest moment was when I got ask to become an official Blazblue cosplayer for the day @ Bunkasai and the HMV Gamerbase event to promote Contiuum Shift 2. I got my Taokaka costume signed by the designers.
I enjoy making things, creating things and learning new skills, then putting them into action by doing a more difficult costume each time. I love the expressions when people recognize who you are. I'm not good acting as characters yet, however I am beginning to get the jist of things by talking to people who have cosplay longer than I have. I enjoy meeting new people, making friends and having a laugh with everyone at conventions you never know who your going to meet.
