I have started adding the feather onto the base...This does involve the tedious job of glueing each one individually but think its worth it. I think so far the shape has come out quite nicely, I would have loved wings as big as avacyn's but alas it's just not practical. Waiting for some more feathers in the post now...

So I started creating the base for my wings. The top edge is made from hardboard foam and the rest is from basket cane. I am hoping that this wil allow the wings to be reasonably light to wear...*crosses fingers*

Today I am starting to construct the skeleton that will hold the wings. Wish me luck.....
