Outside of cosplay, I am an animation student. My passion lies in reading novels and graphic novels (comics and manga), gaming (I love experiencing RPGs over other genres) and drawing (mostly figure drawing). People say I wear my emotions on my sleeves and that I am also occasionally pretty blunt. That I don't deny. If I could, I will tell you the harsh truth, but I am also scared of ruining friendships, so I'll much rather rephrase my words to not give trouble unto myself.
I started getting to know about cosplay in 2006, but was hardly active and cosplayed very little; studies and the lack of funds were the biggest factors. Now in 2011, I am getting back into cosplay and will be cosplaying more characters.
I will say that I enjoy how cosplay can let me do a bit of acting while in events or photo shoots. Like the much-used answer, being another person for a day is indeed a very addictive thing.
I don't have a proudest moment yet, but my greatest achievement is building my first armour almost all by myself, with only little guidance by my more experienced friends/mentors. I thank them for sharing that knowledge with me.
