Cosplay Bio

I began cosplaying in 2003, motivated by the chance to be part of a large group. I found that cosplaying was a great way to have fun with friends and to meet people. Since then I've cosplayed on and off, as I admit I have had a tendancy to get bored with ongoing projects. I like to take on costumes that are interesting from a construction point of view (I enjoy the making aspect of cosplay the most), have bold designs and are characters I really like. I'm most enthusiastic about cosplaying with others. Outside of Japanese conventions, I have made things for public events like carnivals and theme days at schools.

I have become increasingly interested in photography over the past year and small cosplay shoots with my friends has inspired me to take more photographs of cosplayers.
