I'm a biology student at the university of Liverpool and events organiser for the Liverpool Anime Society this year. I love anime, oddly enough. My favourites being Hellsing, Pani Poni Dash and Azumanga.
Cosplay Bio
I've been involved in anime as a community for three years, the first year and the first con I didn't cosplay because I felt like, since I'm a big girl and I don't intend to change, I couldn't because, let's face it, I'll never have an anime figure, but being at Aya 05 and seeing all the people who cosplayed really inspired me and it's set of from there.
Given an option, I prefer to cosplay magical girls as magical girls have more fun. I have entirely too many Japanese school girl uniforms now and am always trying to think of alternatives but I never quite manage. I'm also on my second sewing machine, when my old machine failed (just before a costume was due so I had to hand finish it) I only lasted a month before I made myself find the funds for a new one.
