I'm a twenty-something graduate from Surrey who really loves making things and being creative. :) I like to write a lot and read, but I have been exploring a new found passion for costuming and dressmaking lately. I live with my parents and sister (who is about to start her second year of university) and our two cats, Sam and Lucy. I can be fairly quiet but I love meeting and getting to know people, and I try to be outgoing as much as I can! I absolutely love going to events and conventions in the UK and I'm totally excited to be part of the UK cosplay scene - a field of talented, lovely and creative people. Rock on, Islanders!
Cosplay Bio
I started cosplaying in the summer of 2006 when I was inspired to start making my first costume - San from Princess Mononoke. San is still one of my all-time favourite film characters, and I may make the battle variant of her costume at some point when I have time. :)
I still have a small cosplay gallery but I've got several things planned for next year, which should be an exciting and varied one for me and cosplay!

Day 172: still not dead. Hooray!
I've been plagued by a landslide of computer breakage lately. Our home computer died for the second time in two or three weeks, and this time it's looking to be of the permanent nature. Luckily my uni laptop has been resurrected from beyond the grave, sans old hard drive, which means I basically need a computer whizz to extract all my files from it so I don't lose them all forever. A technically-minded guy at work has volunteered, so I might get him to have a look at it. Meanwhile, the laptop is up and running with a much smaller hard drive, which basically means I'm being very very careful about what I download and install. But anyway, at least we have the internet back in our home again! The main computer is out of action but the guy who fixed my laptop is going to transfer its hard drive into a new, basic, not-broken computer. Win.
I'm leaving for Seville on August the 8th. It's less than a month away. How scary! I'm very very very very excited though. :3 I'm also getting very excited about my leaving party on the 26th. :D
Anyway, I just wanted to make this a short update to say "hey I'm still here!" and sorry for not being around to check my flist and stuff. I'm slowly catching up on the pages of posts that have built up during my hiatus. I've missed it around here!
