Personal Bio
I'm a born again Christian with a passion for reading and writing.
I've always loved being creative, but cannot draw or paint to save my life. Sewing, however, seems to be coming with a little bit of practice. And so cosplay it is!
I play the violin (Passed Grade 5, woop!) and love to sing, although I've never sang for any reason or had lessons.
I'm currently studying Physics, Chemistry and Double Maths at A level, and hope to take Maths at University.
My favourite anime and manga are varried and seemingly random.
I adore sciencefiction: TV, literature, games...
I'm also a leetle bit of a gamer...something that inevitably rubbed off from my father and brothers.
Cosplay Bio
I have no idea where cosplay came from for me...when I think back, all that I can remember is wanting to cosplay to the Tokyopop ReCon to be held in the local book shop. I guess I got a taste for it, since being the only ones in costume gave us quite a bit of attention, and I've been stuck on the idea ever since.
I'm still fairly new to the whole thing, and still trying to hone my skills...in truth, there's not a lot that I have made that I am proud of.
But what I do love is the instant conversation cosplay brings, and also the hours of entertainment I get from sitting at my sewing machine, slaving away. At the end of the day, it's something to do when I'm bored, isn't it? XD

Long time no post, but this is an important update!

And what a week it was!
Firstly, I'd never flown before, so I was really nervous. I was more scared of airport security than the flight itself. It is so strict in England, and in Manchester they have scanners that see through your clothes, which made me REALLY uncomfortable, but what can you do about it? I love how England is all major paranoid and in Belgium you basically just walk onto a plane XD I totally LOVED flying. So beautiful <3 The plane was so tiny! Can't wait to do it again!

Jazy's mum and sister are soooooo adorable! Sara made me feel so welcome. I loved the relationship she and Jazy had. Her mum was just pure awesome. She was so CUTE and sweet. <3 I really felt so at home.
The first day we...watched TV and DVDs ^^ And walked to the pastry shop XD We love wasting time in front of the TV. 8D
The second day Jazy, myself, Sara and her friend Natalie went to the Walibi, a theme park that reminds me of how Alton Towers was before they took away all the stuff for little kids. It was the hotest day I have ever known. We basically spent it pouring water over our heads. But it was lots and lotsa fun! We managed to ride all the Big 7, as well as a few other things. My favourite ride was The Werewolf! It was such a good rollercoaster, cos it wasn't "drop-calm-twist-calm-drop" It was just "drop-drop-twist-drop-twist-twist-twist-drop!" You never had time to stop and calm down. It was like WOOOOOOAAAAAAAH so epic <3 Too bad we couldn't go on it twice :(

We took the train there and back. The trains are very different in Europe to those in England. They're a lot bigger! But they're only really used for travelling long distances. Like city to city. They're not as casual as in England. But Antwerpen Train station was soooo beautiful! I'm glad I got to see it =D

On Saturday we went to Chibicon! We went with Laura, Jazy's Nano buddy, who is so totally epic and awesome =D I was Sora from Digimon, Jazy was Pikachu and Laura was an Elf from WOW. We had a brilliant day, most of which we spent in the manga library cos it was way too hot. We found a fan and stuck to it, and read lots of manga. It was fun =D (the library game was epic too! I want a manga library near where I live!)
Also: I FOUND A TAI. A female Tai who didn't speak English but STILL A TAI! <3
I also got recognized as Sora after I'd taken off half my costume...which makes total sense (it was hilarious, cos he was yelling "Digimon, digimon!" and his friend was saying "No you retard, Pikachu is a POKEMON.")
Met a guy who's dad lives near Dover too =D It was good to hear a British accent (mine was slowly turning American :( )
Car journey back was epic! =D Even though we did get thoroughly lost XD
Sunday was Beach day! Jazy's mum drove us there, and Sara's friend came too!
We had so so so much fun =D Swimming in the sea and reading in the sun. I've not been to the beach in so long and I loved every moment of it! Even swimming in the sea, and I always hate swimming! Maybe the sea makes it different <3 We had chips for supper, in very Belgian style. It was good!

After 3 busy days we were tired, so Monday we watched 2 seasons of BlackAdder and lazed around. Tuesday Jazy wasn't very well, so we basicaly did the same again. We got through the whole of BlackAdder. It was awesome =D
Wednesday was shopping and being tourists in Antwerp. We FINALLY found the Belgian flags that had evaded us on the Beach stalls. (why would I want a French flag in Belgium?!)

Embassy Building (I think) Jazy got us a painting of the statue as a gift last year. It was a pretty square =D

The final day...we watched Hot Fuzz. And then I took the plane home :(
I miss Jazy a lot! I really didn't want to go home, a week a year is really not long enough to see one another!!! Til next year Jazy! We will meet again! Thank you for the most awesome week since last year! =D
