Personal Bio

Well, all I can say is that I am myself, really! Most people who know me say I'm easy to get on with. As you might have guessed I am a geek, I love anime/manga, video games and the like. I'm also REALLY into my martial arts which I have been doing for years and am hoping someday to make a career out of it, but that's my long term goal. But me as a person, I'm a pretty simple person when it comes down to it, I like to joke around, I'm pretty spontaneous and I've been told I'm caring. Which is encouraging, the last few years of my life have been hell, but I'm over the worst of it and I'm heading in the right direction. I'm always happy to chat to random people, or to take people's suggestions for new animes/films/music etc.

So that's me in a nutshell. Of course, if ya wanna get to know the real me, then you'll just have to do that the old fashioned way. XD

The only thing I can't stand is ARROGANT people, or people who moan all-the-freaking-time.

Cosplay Bio

I haven't been cosplaying very long. (Especially compared to some people.) But I sure as hell am enjoying it! It was actually my brother who got me into cosplay, but I didn't really take much convincing.

I enjoy the atmosphere of cons, usually everyone is really friendly and open, and of course it's great to be somewhere people have the same interests as you. I also love looking around the stalls and buying stuff, and I always love to hear people tell me I have a good outfit, as I often do for other people.

My proudest moment in cosplay is... Probably when that group of cute asian girls all asked me for a photo with them. Think that was October last year? Epic stuff. XD But I'd also say my Army of Two cosplay was my most successful one yet.

Interests

As I mentioned before. My main interests are anime/manga videogames music and martial arts. But I guess I'll expand on them a bit more here. Anime/manga I luuuuurve - Naruto - Deathnote - Ghost In The Shell - Cowboy Bebop - Elfen Leid - Durarara!! - Ikkitousen (Shaddup / I know.) - Black Butler/KuroSHITsuji - Tiger & Bunny - Samurai Shamploo - Soul Eater Videogames I luuuuuuurve - Final Fantasy - Halo - Hitman - Call Of Duty - Metal Gear Solid - Saints Row - Army Of Two - Mirror's Edge - Mortal Kombat - King Of Fighters - Tales Of Vesperia - Portal - Dragon Age - Mass Effect - BlazBlue - Resident Evil - Tekken - Devil May Cry - Ninja Gaiden To name a few... O.O Music / I have a broad... And weird taste in / I like most (obscure) styles of music. But among my favourite bands/composers are... - Adema - Akira Yamaoka - Aphex Twin - Chiasm - cKy - Daisuke Ishiwatari - Dillinger Escape Plan - Dir En Grey - Disturbed - DJ Prime cuts - Dynamite MC - DMX - Fear Factory - Gackt - Ghostface Killah - Goldfinger - Ilaria Graziano - Insane Clown Posse - Jesper Kyd - Kagrra / - Lacuna Coil - Limp Bizkit - Linkin Park - Lit - Mad Capsule Markets (MCM!) - Miyavi - The Myriad Burial (F***ing INSANE guitaring) - New Found Glory - Nobuo Uematsu - Noriyuki Asakura - Nujabes - Ozrasaurus - Project 86 - RJD2 - Rob Zombie - Soulfly - System Of A Down - Taproot - Twiztid - Wu Tang Clan - X Japan - Zebrahead / As for my martial arts that is the interest in itself. I am learning a style of Kung Fu called Wing Chun (Which translates as "Forever spring.") it's the main style Bruce Lee was proficient in / it's also the only fighting style ever to be invented by a woman. I've been doing Wing Chun for nearly 10 years now / and I have my black belt / but I've still got a long way to go! I think it's a lot of fun / which is why I got into teaching it. Everyone at the club is really great and frankly I don't know what I'd do without it! If Wing Chun interests you in the slightest / I'd definitely recommend watching the film "Ip Man" Ip Man was probably the greatest Wing Chun practitioner who ever lived / and he has a film about him! Epicness.
