Greetings to whoever reads this, and thank you for taking the time to look at our profile.
My name is Rebecca (the chibi) and my partner’s name is Jamie (the penguin).
I’m from Manchester, and he’s originally from Cumbria. We’re still pretty new to the whole cosplay scene. Our first cosplay event was the London MCM expo in October 2009, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Consequently we’ve decided to continue to cosplaying until we get fed up with it (we have a whole closet full of objects testament to our fleeting hobbies/interests).
Unfortunately, I’m about as interesting as watching Yoko Ono watch paint dry, but I hope you enjoy our... my half-arsed ‘attempts’ at cosplay.
We hope that by cosplaying we can pick up some new 'arty' and 'crafty' skills, including sewing... Which I'm determined to do well.
Being stingy buggers, we hope that every costume we make will be under £100.
Penguin has a degree in Computer Science, and currently works as a java developer. He likes shiny things, cats, Kirby, lemoncello, sound systems and fapping to Steve Jobs.
Chibi has a degree in History and pushes pencils for THE COUNCIL (dun dun duuuun). She likes real ale, adventure gaming, Chan Buddhism, Daoism, tai chi, spearmint polos, being a pretentious git and suddenly switching to the 3rd person.
