| @Amanda - Awww come on, there's no need to lose weight. Plus, when you do decide to cosplay as Linna, we will only need someone to make Sylia, and I'll bring Priss and Nene. That'll be an awesome photoshoot if everything materialises.
@Tim - I've already got progress pics of both Priss and Nene's hardsuits in my journals. More coming soon as I've already made the base armour for the legs. I won't actually upload any proper photos until I've at least finished painting some of the pieces |

| Oh the floormat stuff, I see. Wow seems to be working out really well.
Latex - I dont know if it can be sprayed through an air gun. I would be very surprised if it can. But there is a trick to painting it on and getting a smooth finish. Alyx painted her foam Lekku and got a great finish. One of the tricks is to mix the latex 50/50 with acrylic paint..it seems to thnn it down so ends up smoother finish. The applicator also makes a big difference. Ive just ordered some paint on liquid latex and it says it comes with a special sponge applicator. I will let you know how I get on. |

| Got some real progress on my Priss now, so I'll add that tonight or tomorrow.
The main construction is made from interlocking EVA floor mats. Larger versions of the alphabet play mats, and the kind of thing you might find in a gym, or dojo perhaps.
Extra details/reinforcements will be made using standard craft foam, and I'll probably use PVA glue, or some clay of some sort to fill in the gaps etc. The EVA foam CAN be sanded down as well, which is useful for edges etc.
I haven't thought about what paint to use yet. I wanted to give them a solid coating, like a PVC fabric, but it's too late to do that now. Can latex paint be applied through a spray gun/compressor? or does it have to be painted on? |
