| Thanks all :D lovely comments :) makes up for the one person on facebook who went on a rant and tried to tell me the gun wasn't anything like hers and was totally inaccurate....spoilsports! No idea what they were on about anyway, it's pretty damn close to the reference from what I can see....
I'd love to take credit for the gun, but my boyfriend made it for me as a total surprise! It's mainly cardboard, paper, and a lot of glue. There are a few metal nuts stuck on as well in the details. The outer was masking tape, and all spraypainted with black and a little silver for the aged look.
I now also have the fingerless gloves, and a much improved set of belt pouches more suiting to her. Good old Army Surplus stores! :D
The wolf will hopefully be improved later to be attached so Otacon doesn't have to carry him all day :P and the heart broke a bit during Eurogamer :( but the updated version will be around many times in the future because MGS still rocks and I will always love this costume now I have it! :D
