Cosplay Island Version 2

As you can clearly see we've just done a massive overhaul of the site's design. If it all looks a bit messed up you might want to refresh your browser. This new design is the product of months of work, and although we've got a lot more in the works we wanted to share what we've done so far.

As you look around the site you should find a whole host of subtle changes and improvements. We hope you like what we've done with the place.

Here's a quick overview of some of the key changes:

• Obviously the general page design has been changed to something we think looks a bit more stylish.

• We've tried to simplify and clarify our menus. You should now be able to get to all the major sections with the main menu bar near the top.

• We've replaced the LightBox image viewer with something called HighSlide which as you'll see is a bit more snazzy, and it even allows you to view more than one image at a time.
• Tutorials, written reports and video reports have all been combined into a single articles section.
• On a lot of pages such as costume list, costume details and articles you'll see our new tabbing system.
• Check out the new statistics page (you can get to it from the front page) it's got a lot of new stats and we've finally added in the promised charts.

There's a lot more bits and pieces on top of that but those are some of the key things to look out for. As I've already said we've got a lot more to come, but if you have any feedback please feel to use the forums to let us know.
