At the end of this month the UK has been granted a bank holiday, thanks to the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton. No doubt many of you won't be watching it and will want to enjoy the time off instead, so why not travel to the charming Bristol Cosplay Clubnight on the evening of Friday 29th April? Check out below for full details.
Running since January 2008 at The Crown pub in Bristol, the night is an affordable way to catch up with fellow cosplayers, drink and dance to J-Pop, J-Rock and anime themes. At just £4 entry, it is definitely one of the cheapest events in the country and still offers a good night of entertainment. For those of you who are caught up in Royal Wedding fever, why not don a Royal-themed cosplay for the event? There are plenty of anime princesses to choose from!
There will be a raffle on the night, for which the organisers promise a large amount of prizes. All proceeds from the raffle, as well as door entry and the cloakroom fee and will be donated to registered charity Tohaku Earthquake Fund (http://www.japansociety.org.uk/earthquake/).
Doors for the event open at 9pm and it will last until 3am. Please note that the event is open only to those 18 years and over due to licensing laws. For direction to the venue check her - http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=aLJ&rls=org.mozi...
